Mark is TotalBay's AI phone assistant (Phone Assistant add-on). He always says he's an automated assistant.
Set your shop phone to forward unanswered or busy calls to the shop's Twilio number. Mark answers, takes name, number, vehicle and concern, books a drop-off or texts the check-in link, and texts you a short summary. Spam calls get a polite goodbye. Known customers are greeted by name.
Press Car is ready on the RO. Mark calls the customer once (shop hours) with the balance due and offers to text the secure pay link. No answer means the ready text goes out instead. Pressing twice never calls twice. Mark never takes card numbers by voice.
Press Estimate ready. Mark calls once to say the estimate is in their text. Automatic estimate calls can be turned off in phone settings; the button still works.
